There's nothing quite like the thrill of finding the perfect thrift store score. It's like a real-life treasure hunt but with aggravating fluorescent lighting and a questionable smell. The thrift store in my town does 50% off every Friday, and you'd think they were giving away free money by the way people line up before it opens. It's also a fact that you'll never have a successful thrift trip if a sweet treat is not involved. An iced coffee or a little pastry is just enough to fuel the hunt. 

But nothing tests your patience quite like trying to find a mirror in a crowded store. There's always that one cracked mirror wedged between racks and you have to fight off three other people just to catch a glimpse of yourself holding up a $5 shirt wondering, "Do I really need this?"
